Story

Hope that you are all safe and keeping well?

Unipart Accelerators MK3 are a team of Unipart employees who were signed up to take part in the Oxford Mail OX5 RUN, on Sunday 29th March to make a difference for local children in hospital. This five mile run at Blenheim Palace was being held to raise important extra funds for the Oxford Children's Hospital, Critical Care areas and the Children's Ward at the Horton General.

Due to the Coronavirus the run was cancelled but the team used their exercise allowance to pound their local paths and roads in the hope that we can together raise much needed and deserved funds.

Our team was to be 8 strong and we were going to win!!?? The day was very chilly with a strong wind but also with a strong determination to carry on for the charity. 4 dogs joined in too!! Roxy, Willow, Darcie and Beno!! Comments included having a beer and a bottle of Prosecco!! (Afterwards of course - and well deserved!!)

Your sponsorship really will make a difference to thousands of children in hospital.Oxford Hospitals Charity transforms our local hospitals, creating warm and welcoming environments for patients, with the latest specialist medical equipment. The charity also funds research and improvements for hospital staff, including specialist training.

Thank you so much for supporting Oxford Children's Hospital Charity, which is part of Oxford Hospitals Charity.
