Story
On 13th & 14th May 2023 a team of colleagues from different Pillars within United Living Group are coming together to walk The Jurassic Coast challenge!
The challenge will see the team cross coastal paths, steep hills and challenging beaches through the spectacular World Heritage coastline over a 2 day period, completing a walk of 100km (62.1 Miles). With a start in Corfe Castle, then heading down to Swanage, and along through Lulworth Cove, past Durdle Door, with ups & downs to Weymouth at halfway and finishing in Bridport.
We are walking to raise much needed funds and awareness for 2 important charities. One is Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA).
-Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA) are the only charity in England, Wales & Northern Ireland focused on improving MND care, research, and campaigning. Motor Neuron Disease is a fatal, rapidly progressing disease that affects the brain and spinal cord. MND can leave people locked in a failing body, unable to move, talk, swallow and eventually breath. There is no cure or effective treatment. Funding for research and drug trials is much needed.
Please donate towards this amazing charity and help us make a difference. Any contribution will go a long way and spur the team on to make it through the 100km!
If you would like to recommend a fundraising idea to help us hit our target, I am sure someone in the team will appreciate this, and we would love for you see us excel in the task whilst raising much needed funds.
We will be posting updates to our social media platforms (Mainly through our LinkedIn page) - https://www.linkedin.com/company/united-living-group/ and through our own individual pages.
