Brave Futures is a specialist support service for children and young people up to the age of 18 years who have experienced sexual abuse. We work throughout Suffolk and Norfolk. Providing a safe place for children and young people to make sense of the confusion they feel. We give children and young people the skills and tools they need to re-build their futures, manage the trauma they have experienced and help them move from victim to survivor.

Story

On 3rd of June the annual Dragon Boat race in aid of Brave Futures will take place at Ipswich Waterfront.

The University of Suffolk will be represented in the race by teams from the Directorates of Marketing, Communications & International and Business Engagement, Careers & Employability.

We are raising funds in aid of Brave Futures which is a local charity that provides support services to ensure that children are free from abuse.

In addition to coming along to cheer our teams, we would encourage you to give anything you can to support this extremely worthwhile and important charity.
