2.4 Million Metres Challenge · 24 August 2020

Student Minds empowers students to build their own mental health toolkit. We also challenge the higher education sector, health sector, and government to make student mental health a priority. Together, we’re improving university communities so that no student is held back by their mental health.

Story

UYNC are joining Student Minds’ #TwoPointFourMillionMetres challenge!

The campaign aims to raise as much money as possible to support students through the challenging year ahead by travelling a collective distance of 2.4 million metres - one metre to represent every student in higher education in the UK.

Our mental health is equally if not more important to take care of than our physical health and university can be a challenging time for us all! In support of the campaign, UYNC have committed to run/walk/cycle 240Km within 24 hours on 24th August!

Student Minds is the UK’s only student mental health charity and is Yorkshire based! Please show your support by walking/running/cycling as far as you can on 24th August (make sure you share your distance and tag @UYNC_ and Student Minds) and donating anything you can to this amazing charity!
