Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
University Rowing Aberdeen have decided to raise much needed funds for Alzheimer Scotland. We want to support this incredible charity through this unprecedented time to ensure that their vital work continues. We will be doing this through a lockdown challenge in which we will be walking/running/erging/cycling the distance between Aberdeen, Scotland and Henley-on-Thames, England. This 843km challenge will be held over Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th June, when we would normally be travelling down for Henley Women's Regatta. Our members will be tracking their activity through the University Rowing Aberdeen Strava group and regular updates on the distance covered will be given through our social media channels.

Alzheimer Scotland is Scotland's national dementia charity. They provide support and information to people with dementia, their carers and families. They also campaign for the rights of people with dementia and fund vital dementia research. Dementia affects an estimated 90,000 people across Scotland, some of whom are our own athlete's friends and family members.
