As we all know, Guide Dogs is an amazing charity helping the blind to get their freedom back, therefore this year two teams from the Unum Basingstoke office are taking part in the Coniston Challenge for Guide Dogs!  

Team 1- 'Andy's and the Pussycats' made up of Andy, Andy, Vicki, Lauren and James Bunyan. Team 2- 'Wii not fit' made up of Emma, James Butler, Gemma, Steve and Mike. 

The challenge consists of a 10km hike up The Old Man of Coniston, a 12km mountain bike ride through Grizedale Forest followed by a 1 mile kayak over the Coniston Water... back to back... (*insert worried face*). 

The aim is to raise £2000 per team however as we are fundraising together the aim is £4000!   To fundraise we will be hosting quiz nights, bake sales and more, and we will also welcome and appreciate any donations that are gifted on this page!
