University of Manchester's UoMCC Everest Challenge

UoM Cycling Club is raising money for Maggie's Centres

For this years second charity event, the University of Manchester Cycling Club will be taking on the Everest challenge.
The rules:
1. Climb the height of Mt Everest (8848m)
2. On one climb
3. In a single activity
To accomplish this, UoMCC will be tackling "Peaslows", a 1.6km at 10% gradient, just outside Chapel-en-le-Frith in the Peak District. To complete this challenge, our riders must climb Peaslows 56 times, and complete a total distance of 178.2km.
