Story
Help us double the number of people with MS we support.
Your donation will help people to regain control and live the best possible life in spite of their MS. Our aim is to raise £800,000 over the next two years, so that we can support 450 people with Multiple Sclerosis in the West of England, twice as many as we do now.
With your support people can live better with MS.
Multiple Sclerosis is devastating and unpredictable. There is no cure. It is the most common form of disability in young people, often diagnosed between the ages of 20 and 40.
In Greater Bristol there are 1,700 people living with MS. A condition which brings dreadful uncertainty, affecting people’s ability to work, it often puts terrible strain on finances and relationships, which can in turn lead to depression and isolation.
The therapies at the Centre help people to cope on a day to day basis with MS.
Your donation will help people like Kirsty live with her MS. For Kirsty, this will mean getting back some of her life and taking part in day to day activities such as being able to support her family. For many people, this may mean staying in work, meeting children from school or walking the dog. Something that may seem small but which makes a huge difference.
Together we will rise to the challenge of MS.
