The University of Plymouth Hockey Club will be running the Plymouth 10K on October the 7th in aid of Heartswell - which is a local heart charity providing "counselling, peer support and patient information for individuals across Devon, Cornwall and The Scilly Isles. Including essential equipment for hospitals such as 3D scanners, heart monitors ,TOE probes and life saving defibrillator equipment and training for communities. Alongside this they provide overnight accommodation for patients and families receiving treatment at Derriford Hospital and other local medical facilities in Plymouth at The Lodge".
