We wanted to celebrate Isaac's 10th birthday in a special way, after all it's double digits, and what better way to support Demelza at the same time. Demelza gave us the chance of a very special day with Isaac, when we could take him outside for the first time, could give him cuddles without a ventilator and the whole family were supported. A happy and a sad day all rolled into one, but better for being at Demelza.  

And Demelza do that day-in day-out. Bringing up children and raising a healthy, happy family is hard work at the best of times. When a child is born with or develops a terminal condition, the emotional and physical impact affects the whole family and can be overwhelming.
