Hello, thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.I just want to give you a wee bit of background information about why I am raising funds this year!

I am going out with a group of individuals to Malawi, Africa on July 22nd with my sister Orla and others from all over the Armagh Dioceses. On this trip we will be helping to build homes for people who are much less fortunate than you or me.  Our aim is to complete as much work as we possibly can within the 2 weeks we will be there - it will be hard graft but it will be so worth it! I took part in the build last year in Bangalore, southern India and it was an amazing experience. I was doing things that I never imagined but enjoyed every minute of it. It is hard to put into words the joy on the faces of those that you are helping but you know that every block that is laid is a step closer to a family having a safe place to call home - something they probably have never had before. 

By sponsering me you will be helping Habitat for Humanity NI buy the materials needed for the build. Each team member pays for their own travel and accomodation so every penny of your donation goes directly to the charity. In helping me raise the funds, you are playing a large role in building communities, building hope and building homes. 

To get the ball rolling, me and my hubby will be abseiling down the Dromore (Co. Down) viaduct on 26th February to try and raise some funds. All support on the day will be grately appreciated also!!!!!!
