Ustadh Innes Shaheen Water Well 4 Yemen

Assalamualaykum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu
We are really saddened to hear about the passing of our dear teacher, Ustadh Mohammad Innes, who had been unwell for some time. To Allah (SWT) we belong, to Allah (SWT) we return.
There are some people you meet who are just a delight each and every single time you interact with them, people from whom you learn good character and pick up gems of knowledge, and he was most definitely one of them. When one thinks of him, prophetic qualities come to mind. Honest, upright, gentle, one who gave everyone his full attention, incredibly humble, softly spoken, compassionate, hardworking, and one who brought hearts to Allah and His Messenger ﷺ. A man of service... He’s the one many wanted as their children’s teacher, the one you’d choose to lead organisations, the one you’d call to set up a community project, the one you’d trust without a doubt... a father figure to many, a brother to others. He’d be hiding in the background somewhere of gatherings - cleaning up, talking to anyone who is by themselves or quietly & intently listening & smiling. It’s true what some have said: he makes everyone feel like he is their best friend.
In light of this really saddening news, and having consulted Ustadh Innes in the days leading to his passing, we are raising money to dig a water well as Sadaqah Jariyah for him - he personally requested the water well is built in Yemen - a country very close to his heart. We pray by digging a water well we are able to help the people of Yemen in a small way, and we pray every time someone drinks the water, our beloved Ustadh Innes is rewarded forever!
Please donate generously with the intention that your charity is a means of reward for our beloved Innes! May Allah (SWT) grant you a lofty place in Paradise and grant your family and loved ones sabr during this testing time.
Our beloved Master Muhammad ﷺ said, "The best charity is giving water to drink." - The water well will be dug by Rafah International - an organisation that provides aid to Yemen; supporting orphans, widows and victims of conflicts and funds teachers, students and educational institutes. This organisation is close to and supported by Shaykh Habib Umar bin Hafidh, who will be overlooking this project.
