Le borse di studio del Collegio del Mondo Unito dell’Adriatico  dedicate a Giulio Regeni – ex allievo UWC – vogliono portare a Duino studenti egiziani meritevoli selezionati dalla Commissione Nazionale UWC di quel Paese. La passione che Giulio nutriva per l’Egitto si rispecchia in questa iniziativa che offre un’istruzione di qualità a giovani che nel loro Paese, non avrebbero modo di accedervi. Inizialmente promossa da due compagni del collegio UWC USA di Giulio (Lorenzo Bartolucci e Federico Torracchi), e con il sostegno della famiglia Regeni, questa raccolta di fondi contribuisce a costruire un ponte culturale permanente tra Italia ed Egitto.

Con il tuo aiuto possiamo continuare a offrire un alternativa a questi giovani egiziani che nel nome di Giulio ripongono le loro speranze per un futuro migliore nell’educazione fondata sui valori degli United World Colleges.

Giulio Regeni Scholarships for Egyptian students

The UWC Adriatic scholarships dedicated to Giulio Regeni – a UWC alumnus – are aimed at bringing deserving Egyptian students, selected by the UWC National Committee in Egypt, to Duino. The passion that Giulio harboured for Egypt is reflected in this initiative, which provides a quality education to young men and women who would not otherwise have access to such an opportunity. Initiated by two of Giulio's UWC USA classmates, Lorenzo Bartolucci and Federico Torracchi, and with the support of the Regeni family, the scholarship fund contributes to the forging of a permanent cultural bridge between Italy and Egypt.
