I work in the NHS as a Transformation Lead and work closely with Cancer Research UK to transform and improve Cancer care and services across Berkshire West, which includes Reading, Newbury and Wokingham. I am lucky enough to see where some of the money goes, and this includes outreach work into deprived areas to promote the importance of changing lifestyle choices to reduce the risk of Cancer and setting up new ways of engaging with BME communities to increase the uptake of Cancer screening. Cancer Research produce some excellent guidance and training for clinicians that has a real impact on patient care and they make a daily difference in the fight against Cancer. I have signed up to Ultra white collar boxing to raise money so I can contribute to the great work they are doing. Please donate generously  and just know that I will be going through the grinder to raise this money. There will be sweat, there will be blood and, I have no doubt, there will be tears!
