Cancer, I want to punch you in the face!

The first rule of Fight Club is, always talk about the Fight Club.
I am trying to raise money for Cancer Research UK so that we can all live long, healthy and prosperous lives.
For the next 8 weeks, I am going to train like Rocky Balboa before stepping into the ring on Dec 10, 2016 in front of approx. 2000 people to defeat Apollo Creed, James "Clubber" Lane, Ivan Drago or whoever my opponent may be!
Here's some examples of how your wonderful donations are helping beat cancer sooner:
£50 could equip 2 scientists with a lab coat and a pair of safety goggles. These help protect against harmful chemicals and prevent experiments from getting contaminated.
£100 covers the cost of giving one patient the Cytosponge test and analysing their results in the lab to diagnose early stages of oesophageal cancer.
£500 could fund one cancer information nurse for four days. Our experienced cancer information nurses provide a confidential service for anyone with concerns about cancer.
£1000 could cover the basic costs for ten women to take part in a clinical trial to improve survival for post-menopausal women with early-stage breast cancer.
So if you like me, please donate to my cause to see me punch the lights out of cancer. Conversely, if you don't like me, you can still donate to see me get knocked out by my opponent who will also be kicking cancer's butt!
Lastly, if you are in the area, please come and see me fight at:
