Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On 22nd August a group of us from the University of Warwick Mixed Hockey Club will be travelling to Wales and trekking up 3,494ft to the summit at Snowdon, in order to raise money for our club's charity Coventry Haven.

Coventry Haven do fantastic work to provide refuge, aid and support to women and children experiencing all forms of domestic abuse. They also help with other issues experienced alongside abuse that people are facing, for example: discrimination, disability, LGBTQ+ equality, debt management and substance abuse. Over lockdown there were reports of significant rises in domestic abuse, so these services are more vital now than ever before.

So, we are dusting off our walking boots and getting prepared for the 9 mile hike to help this wonderful and dedicated charity. All donations are hugely appreciated, and we look forward to having your support. Thank you so much!
