In memory of the light missing from my life!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In 2015 my sister, Joanne, died aged only 38 after a 7 year battle with MS. Those 7 years and the 2 years since have been the hardest of my life. Grief is such an isolating experience and people simply do not talk about it enough, despite the inevitability of it coming to us all one day!
I want to raise money for the charity that provided us with so much support. There is still no cure, but there has been some promising progress. Their September campaign is to protect the invaluable free helpline and features my story. I will add it to my next post soon.
I also want to do my bit to tackle the taboo of grief. 'It's good to talk' and that includes grief. However sadly, after the funeral, the talking and rallying around usually stops. Everyone deals with grief differently but they all have moments when they would like to talk about it. We can help each other by listening and learning that death is part of life.
