We have been blessed with 50 years of marriage, two wonderful children, four fantastic grandchildren, a loving family and amazing friends along the way.

In 2007 Val was diagnosed with a progressive autoimmune disease called Inclusion Body Myositis for which there is no cure at present. Research into the cause and a possible cure is beginning to happen.

Val is an administrator for a Support Group for other sufferers which aims to provide encouragement, information, friendship and finance for ‘meet ups’ with others around the country.  If you would like to give to this Support Group, any amount from £5, it would be put to very good use.
