Val's 75 mile challenge walks · 12 July 2017

Far too many of us have felt the pain of losing someone we love. With your donations, we power groundbreaking cardiovascular research to save and improve lives, bring hope to families, and keep hearts beating across the UK.

Story

I have always enjoyed walking, and since moving to Norfolk I have become a volunteer for Norfolk Trails monitoring various routes. I'm also member of Cromer Walkers are Welcome and earlier this year we welcomed Kieran Sandwell here on his 5000 mile coastal challenge walk. I walked with him for a few miles and was truly inspired by his courage and determination. Kieran had a heart transplant seven years ago and set himself this mammoth coastal challenge to raise funds for the BHF as a huge "thank you" for their gift of life.

Walking is perhaps the best way to keep fit and healthy ... it doesn't cost anything ... and it's so enjoyable too! We start on 12 July & finish on 11 August. Walks take place each Wednesday and Friday morning and on Sunday afternoons. They are comfortable walks, suitable for all ages, covering countryside, woodlands, clifftops and seashore with interesting places to visit and perhaps a nice cafe for a rest stop - and always the glorious Norfolk views to enjoy!
