I am a cardiovascular physiologist. My research focuses on several aspects of cardiovascular diseases. The fact that Thalassaemia is a blood disorder that affects more than 280 million in the world called my attention and I want to contribute somehow. Therefore, with your support, I will be able to combine my research with my competitive amateur athlete life fundraising for a cause that will help people that suffer from a disease that affects the blood and as a consequence, their quality of life. I will be humbly honored if I have a chance to represent the United Kingdom Thalassaemia Society at the 2020 Virgin Money London Marathon with your donation to the society.
