WHY CANCER RESEARCH UK?

For so many different reasons really ... first and foremost though because more and more people I know have been affected by a type of cancer or they know someone who has.

We do not know enough to cure all cancers every time they are diagnosed however, thanks to the efforts of everyone like you that keeps on donating, over half a million lives were saved since the 1980s.

Research has the power to kill cancer.

The more we understand about the disease - how it develops, spreads and responds to treatments - the sooner we can find cures.

One day we will beat cancer. Let's make it sooner!!

PERCHE' CANCER RESEARCH UK?

Per tante ragioni diverse in realtà ... prima di tutto, però, perché sempre più persone che conosco sono state colpite da un tipo di cancro diverso o conoscono qualcuno che lo e' stato.

Non abbiamo ancora le conoscenze sufficienti per curare tutti i tipi di cancro ogni volta che vengono diagnosticati tuttavia, grazie agli sforzi di tutti quelli come te che continuano a donare, oltre mezzo milione di vite sono state salvate dal 1980.

La ricerca ha il potere di uccidere il cancro.

Più sappiamo sulla malattia - come si sviluppa, come si diffonde e come risponde ai trattamenti - prima potremo trovare le cure.

Un giorno sconfiggeremo il cancro. Facciamolo prima!!
