Having worked in several paediatric surgical departments across the UK I have met a lot of patients who have benefited first hand from the brilliant work that Dreams Come True provide. By running the London Marathon, along with my brother-in-law Gus, we hope to raise awareness and reach our fundraising target for Dreams Come True to help support them to continue to provide for these children and their families. 

Dreams Come True are a national charity whose mission is to enrich the lives of children and young people with serious and life-limiting conditions from disadvantaged backgrounds, by fulfilling their dreams.
For some, a dream could be to meet their heroes or to spend a couple of days away to forget their troubles. For others, it could be something simpler like having a room to call their own or an accessible bike that allows them to ride with their family and friends.
No matter the dream, if it is fulfilled it can improve the quality of life, spreading excitement and happiness through the family.
