On the 6th April 2014 I will be attempting to complete the longest run of my life, the Brighton marathon. Running a marathon has been on my to do list for many years but I've never been quite brave enough to take on the challenge...until now!!  

I'm very excited but also quite scared at the thought of fitting in the hours and hours of training runs that I've got lined up, on top of working and still being a good mum to my boys!

I've chosen to run and help raise some much needed funds for 'Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research'.  Cancer touches the lives of so many people and this is a charity close to my heart.  They are the only UK charity solely dedicated to research into blood cancers, including leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma.  Your contribution really will make a difference to the lives of the 30,000 people diagnosed every year with a blood cancer.
