In memory of Matthew Heiling
Story
This month, along with my family and friends, I have been raising money for the Epilepsy Society in honour of my son Matt, who passed away of epilepsy in November 2019. The challenge was to walk 50 miles throughout the month.
April would have been his 27th birthday, and his second heavenly birthday. Usually on the 21st of April, his birthday, Matt would have been organising a bbq for family and friends. Rushing us around to buy drinks, meat and salad stuff for his event. Putting a special play list for Alexa to blast out. He was a true gentle giant, kind, generous, and had time for everybody. To him, family was everything, and he was everything to his family. Those that knew Matt always remember his smile, God I miss that.
We can’t believe such time has passed, we miss him every day. All your wonderful support and donations for the Miles for Matthew campaign and been of great comfort to Mark, Dan and myself. Also to those who have donated anonymously, thank you.
