My 3 year old Nephew Dougie was diagnosed in May 2017 with MLD. Life expectancy for children with this condition is limited to a few years and Dougie will most probably not live to see his fifth birthday.  

This is a rare genetic condition and before Dougie's diagnosis I had never heard of it despite being in the medical profession.

I am running to raise awareness for this and make my Nephew proud.
