On the 19th of May I will be running the great Manchester 10k for the Christie for my both my grandads, my Nana and my Auntie who have all had treatment for cancer at the Christie. I will also be running for my stepson Evan, who sadly died in 2016 from neuroblastoma of the lungs aged 13. He was never treated at the Christie as he lived in Cambridge but he is very much part of my motivation. My Grandad Is currently undergoing treatment for throat cancer and my auntie has also been having treatment for lung cancer but unfortunately recently lost her fight. My Nana had treatment for bladder cancer but sadly passed away nearly 16 years ago. Cancer effects everyone no matter what age so I'm trying to help in some small way if I can.
