Malnutrition THE SILENT KILLER! Dealing with the effects of malnutrition in children is a big problem for the David Gordon Memorial Hospital in Livingstonia. Malnourished because Mum & Dad are affected by AIDS, or they are orphans being looked after by an elderly grandparent, or just poverty. When there is little or no food on the table the children suffer. Without a balanced diet malnutrition stirikes and the children succumb and die.
