As the UK's specialist health university, St George's is in a unique position to carry out essential research into coronavirus. Research projects are underway to understand the science of Covid-19, informing the development of new diagnostics, new treatments and a vaccine. Our experts are also influencing public health policy and providing evidence-based information and advice to front-line healthcare practitioners. While this work is progressing, we need further support to accelerate and broaden our research, with the ultimate aim to save lives.
