Hello!

And thank you for visiting our latest fundraising page. The Veronica Claxton memorial fund is a local charity group supporting various good causes who have managed to raise over £350,000 in the last 10 years. More recently we have been heavily supporting CLIC Sargent a children’s cancer charity and in February finished a 5 year quest to raise a quarter of a million pounds for them!

During these unprecedented times and with charities (including ourselves) all over the country having to cancel events I thought it would be nice if a load of us got together (not literally!) for this monster challenge. Between May 29th and June 28th across 31 days a group of us are going to attempt to walk, run and cycle 25,000 miles! The equivalent of going right around the world, a huge challenge which will see us needing to average over 800 miles a day!

But with our great supporters on board we are certainly going to give it a go. Lots of people are getting involved and setting their own challenges, whether it being 500 cycling miles in a month or 100 miles walking every single mile is going to add up and help us to support the wonderful young children fighting cancer whilst being supported by CLIC Sargent.  Please support us through this page if you can.

Thanks so much for your time.
