so here we go again. after completing a very emotional trek to Mount Toubkal in Morocco I returned home to find an email from Velindre asking if I would like to take part in the 2026 trek to Seirra Nevada, without even thinking about it I immediately signed up.
If you know me you'll know and understand why I will never be able to do enough or say thank yoh to the amazing staff at Velindre for all the care, compassion and dedication they showed Naomi during her treatment for Cancer. This trip will be another way to honour not just her memory but also her amazing sister Maisie who also sadly passed away 6 months after Naomi also due to cancer. it's such a terrible disease and Velindre or the hospital of hope as its often called is the most amazing place to receive treatment and be supported by.
1 in 2 of us will be affected by cancer, some will be lucky, some sadly won't, but Velindre will be there to provide what's needed. please support me once again as I raise funds for this amazing charity. there will be many fundraising events leading up to the trek so thank you in advance once again for your support.
