This time last year, my dear Mummy was fighting a losing battle with a Brain Tumour and she very sadly passed away on the 1st June 2019. She showed strength and fortitude and we managed to laugh and cry at the same time. She looked beautiful right to the end and my sister and I were by her side. She was never alone, with the Princess Alice team and Day and Night nurses giving us the medical and moral support we so needed. We could not have given my Mum the end she wanted at home with her cat, Brandy Boy, without the support of the team and we are forever grateful to them. I simply cannot believe the anniversary of her passing is looming and whilst my sister and I have got on with our lives, the deep sorrow will never leave us. I know she wanted us to think of her and smile though so this is what my Sister and I are doing. Please dig deep to support the Hospice who need donations more than ever. They helped my Mother and us, and will help many, many more with your support. Thank you. Xxx
