'Take on the Tower' Abseil Challenge · 11 June 2017 ·

Teens Unite supports young people fighting cancer to live their best life, while others search for a cure. We inspire young people to recognise their potential now and in the future and empower them to live every moment to the full.

Story

On Sunday June 11th, I have agreed to take part in abseiling 500ft (34 floors) down Broadgate Tower for Teens Unite Fighting Cancer, a charity helping to unite young adults and teens in a fun-filled environment

Teens Unite is the only charity in the UK to provide on-going support to 13-24 year olds fighting cancer from diagnosis through to post-remission. Seven young people are diagnosed with cancer every day in the UK and Teens Unite brings them together through workshops and activities so they can spend valuable time with others their age in a similar situation to themselves. The charity helps to rebuild the confidence and self-esteem of those it supports and prevents feelings of isolation during what can be a long and lonely battle.
