St Columba's Hospice holds a very close place in my heart as they cared for my dear father who passed away there 4 yrs ago come June. 

The experience moved me in away I had never known before and I was touched by the kindness shown by the staff at the Hospice that I decided that I would like to give a little back. So I started as a Volunteer at one of their Charity Shops which I give 4hrs every Saturday morning... There is so much work that goes into providing the care for the terminally ill, I can say that my personal experience was second to none. 

This is why I have decided to do a Charity Challenge.I am walking the Great Wall of China to raise funds to help with the ongoing care and support to the patients their families. The Support and Care that the Staff provides without a doubt is very special. 

I would like to ask everyone to help in anyway that they can no matter how little by helping me to raise funds for all the ongoing care and support that the Hospice offers and will keep providing with the help from people like you and I.
