Vet nurses on the run for Woodgreen · 20 April 2020

Woodgreen is a charity that's here for pets and their people. We want all pets to live the best possible life, and we do everything we can to make that a reality – every step of the way. From shelter and care to practical support, we help pets live happy, fulfilling lives with their humans.

Story

Myself, 5 other vet nurses and our surgery manager at Wood Green want to support the charity we work for by raising funds while running 350km collectively over 4 weeks. A perfect task to do while in lockdown. The team consists of myself, China Lloyd, Beth Dean, Lauren Sellers, Ness Croft-Taylor, and welcoming Kia Drage and Sarah Runham.

During the covid-19 crisis, animals and the charities that help them are being over-looked and therefore losing valuable funds.

Though not at the forefront of people's minds, animals provide love, comfort and support. They are a huge blessing, especially during this scary, and to some, lonely time. So much so, animal charities are seeing a huge increase in re-homing and fostering enquiries.

Wood Green is an animal charity that take in unwanted and neglected pets. The amazing staff then provide the animals with a lot of TLC, including essential veterinary care. All so the animal can be re-homed into a loving household.

Please please donate any money to this great cause if you are able to, and share with all your friends and family.
