** Initial fundraising was done via Virgin Money, however Virgin are no longer continuing their giving pages and have closed down - £590.90 has been raised on the Virgin Site (image uploaded) and my previous employer Lloyds Banking Group have matched and now sent over an additional £500 as an offline donation direct to the Hospice** 

On the 7th May 2022  we plan on heading out to Arizona, USA to trek the Grand Canyon. This is going to be a tough challenge given the heat and the very steep ascents/descents on each route. Challenge covers approximately 40 miles over 4 days (day 1 is only a short acclimatisation day of about 4 miles so the other 35 will be tackled in 3 days) 

There will be NO hotels during the actually trek 😳 which means also a personal challenge of camping 🙈(I hate camping)  

I’m doing this to raise money for a local Chester Hospice, The Hospice of the Good Shepherd. They provide palliative care to patients and families facing life limiting illnesses. 

Unfortunately I have had to experience the palliative care and support hospices provide. 

Their support is invaluable.

The cost of the challenge is fully paid for so 100% of any money donated will go to the charity and would be greatly appreciated.
