Vic's Haverhill 10k Challenge

Team: Remembering Cloe Gibney
Team: Remembering Cloe Gibney
We've been meaning to do a 10k at Wisdom for a few years now but have never managed to get everyone in the right place in the country at the right time. However, when the first ever Haverhill 10k event was announced it was difficult to find an excuse not to do it - it practically goes past the office!
Furthermore, when I found out that it was for St Nicholas Hopsice Care in Bury St Edmunds. I think they are a great charity and do fantastic work locally to help people and their families cope with some of the most difficult circumstances any person will ever face. Being local, St Nic's have touched my life several times but most recently with the help and support they gave to Cloe Gibney who died in 2012, aged just 31.
I will be donating any proceeds raised from my run in her name and memory.
Thanks,
V.
