Sometimes the very worst things happen to the loveliest people.

I’m running the London Marathon for Sands for my colleague, Hannah. 

I hope that the money raised will help, in some small way, those going through their darkest days. 

While it often feels as if there is nothing we can do, this charity does know what to do and offers a beacon of hope to those who need it. 

I have a free media place so every single penny raised will go straight to the charity.
