There are two reasons why I am taking part in the Wilmslow Triathlon.  Firstly, I want to raise much needed funds for the local Animal Sanctuary in Wilmslow who do an amazing job taking in abandoned/unwanted animals and re-home as many as they can.  If an animal cannot be re-homed they will provide a secure, loving environment for them to live out the rest of their days.  The second, is a personal goal of mine, and that is to achieve a high level of strength, stamina and fitness doing some of the sports I loved at school, and hardly do at all now.
