I had signed up to do Weymouth 70.3 (half Iron(Wo)man) on the 20th September this year, in memory and inspired by the bestest bunny, my pal Louise. She was meant to be doing the full Ironwoman distance this summer, which I can't even fathom, so settled for half that! We miss her so much, but continue to get inspired by her determination and drive everyday!!

Sadly, corona threw a spanner in the works and the event got cancelled. I din't want all the training to go to waste, and I know a cancelled event wouldn't have stopped Louise, so I am doing my own half-iron on Sunday 6th September! The training has taken up a LOT of time, and it will be a massive challenge, so anything you can spare would be much appreciated. The charity is cancer research, as Louise had always wanted to find a cure for cancer since she was small <3

Half IM distances: swim 1.2 miles, ride 56 miles and run a half marathon (13.1 miles) - hence 70.3, the total distance travelled.
