Loony Dook · 1 January 2010

Omaleshe Projects is a Scottish registered charity based in Namibia which supports vulnerable children teaching them how to protect themselves and say NO. Namibia has a high incidence of violence against women and children and a high teenage pregnancy rate and we are making a difference

Story

We are taking part in the 'Loony Dook' and will be swimming in the Forth on New Year's Day, to raise funds for charity. We'd really appreciate it if you would sponsor us. All the funds will go direct to support the charity that Vicki, and others, have set up to support orphans and vulnerable children in Namibia. We are using dance and drumming as a way of bringing joy and energy into the lives of children and using dance as a way to raise HIV awareness and protection of harm from physical and sexual abuse. Please click on the video  link at the side of this page, and/or visit our website on www.omaleshe.com to find out more.
