Beat is the UK’s eating disorder charity. Our mission is to end the pain and suffering caused by eating disorders. These serious mental illnesses ruin and, too often, take lives. Our Helpline is available online or by phone for anyone suffering, as well as their family and friends.

Story

I am fundraising for the Charity B-eat. Jay Taylor a family member tragically died on the 26th August 2013 aged only 24years. She had suffered for many years of anorexia. Anorexia is not 'a choice' it is an illness which in many cases can be fatal and to which this inspiring, courageous and beautiful young women lost her battle. Jay was a former ambassador for b-eat and is a charity which was close to her heart. They work hard to raise awareness of eating disorders and provide support to sufferers but require funds to do this. If you are able to do so please make a donation to B-eat in memory of Jay to continue her legacy of helping others
