The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

Just over 18 months ago, Daisy asked if she could chop her hair off to donate to the Princess Trust, a charity that make wigs free of charge for children and young adults who have lost their hair as a result of chemotherapy and other cancer treatments... I was gobsmacked! We had never discussed this before, and not only had she come up with the idea, she had researched what was required!

This morning, while getting ready for the hairdressers, Daisy again asked if she could "chop it all off", and while the act of donating her lovely long hair is admirable, I feel that there may be more to give if we make this a sponsored event!

So... the appointment has been booked, and on the 7th October at 3:30, our lovely hairdresser Sophie, is going to take the 7 inches required off Daisy's hair!

Daisy makes me so proud every day, and to give her a glimpse of how that feels, I would really appreciate any donations, no matter how small, to show her how much of a grown up choice she has made! She would be so proud to be able to donate some money to the trust as well as her beautiful hair!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and reading Daisy's story!
