I'm dedicating my Juice fast to my Grandad who sadly passed away in 2008. He was such an amazing, generous & inspirational person who I thought the world of. Even though my grandad was never over weight he suffered from high blood pressure which lead to him having 2 anurisms in the main aorta. The 2nd happened five years after the first & he had to have 2 life saving operations. Thanks to the extensive research of the british heart foundation my grandad survived both his anurisms & received 10 extra years of life in total. On Saturday the 20th July 2008 my grandad lost almost 2/3 of the blood from his body out of his nose and mouth. It was horrific and he was the last person to deserve to go like that but by donating to The British Heart Foundation we can hopefully prevent such terrible deaths such as this from happening in near future and prolong more valuable lives.
