Story

I signed up to climb to Annapurna Base Camp back in December last year when my eldest brother convinced me to join him after he’d successfully climbed to Everest base camp back in 2016.

I will be away in Nepal for 16 days leaving on November the 9th climbing to a maximum altitude of 4130 metres in total. On average I will be walking for between 6-9 hours per day.

I’d originally planned this trek as a personal challenge only,  but after attending the Great North Run recently and being so inspired by the thousands of people challenging themselves and raising money for charity I decided I wanted to help out.

The Graham Wylie Foundation is an amazing charity based in the North East of England supporting children & young people in challenging & vulnerable circumstances. The Foundation is one of the very few in existence that actually hands over 100% of its donations to deserving causes.

Please support me in my challenge & help me raise some money for the Graham Wylie Foundation.

Thank you,

Vicky
