After years of talking about it, I am finally signed up and will be running the Virgin Money London Marathon 2016, and I still can't quite believe it! I have started my training and have a long way to go (literally!) so would welcome all your support and motivation to get me through.

This is a wonderful charity, which is very close to the heart of me and my family. I've seen first hand the incredible work and support that is provided. All the proceeds are being directed to Holme Lodge in West Bridgford (Nottingham), which is one of the residential homes run by Leonard Cheshire Disability, and I would love to be able to raise enough money to enable improvements to be made to this home so that they can continue their fantastic work. 

Please do give generously, it really will make a difference.
