Hello, welcome to Franci and Vicky's fundraising page for Tough Guy Nettle Warrior in aid of the Anthony Nolan charity. Anthony Nolan matches donors with people suffering from blood cancers, funds research and raises awareness for blood cancers and disorders. Both of us know people very close to our hearts who are or have been affected by cancer and feel strongly for both helping to raise funds for this charity in order to help them find more matches for bone marrow or stem cell transplants but also raising awareness for people to join the register themselves. 

Many of us donate blood, but few of us realise that we can also donate stem cells or bone marrow which potentially could save someones life somewhere in the world. So if you whatever reason you can't donate, then please consider joining the register, it doesn't take long - or hurt and one day you could be saving someones life. 

Tough Guy Nettle Warrior is quite a crazy event which is a 17km assault course which combines cross country running with being electrocuted, stung by nettles, a lot of mud and varying degrees of painful activities. I know for a fact most of you wouldn't put yourselves through this event, so please please please take pity on us and spur us on by donating. We will show off any injuries caused during this event to prove our dedication to you and training will involve swimming in ice cold water, jumping off things of varying heights and probably getting stung.
