So we are sat on a plane to Egypt for a long weekend away and we spot an article in a now defunct magazine that suggested walking a marathon for the Eve Appeal along Hadrian's wall.  'That looks interesting' we thought and on our return, a little tanned and chilled out, we enter it!

The challenge is to raise £250 each and to be able to walk 26.2 miles, comfortably uphill from Haltwhistle to Carlisle on Saturday 10th May 2014.
