We have an incredible group of Wish Heroes who will be taking on the London Marathon to help grant magical wishes to enrich the lives of children and young people fighting life-threatening conditions!

Story

I have run a number of marathons and didn't think I'd ever be running another one as I've suffered with long term hamstring and calf injuries. However when I got the chance to do the marathon for Make-A-Wish the old competitive juices flowed.

I started my training and thanks to copious packs of frozen peas on my legs, ice baths and even massages from my wife (who wasn't too pleased), I have survived and am looking forward to the big day on 28 April.

Make-A-Wish UK grant magical wishes to enrich the lives of children and young people fighting life-threatening conditions. Granting their wish provides seriously ill children with hope for the future, strength to cope and resilience to fight their condition. They’re given quality time away from the daily realities of living with their condition and given the chance to make magical memories they can treasure forever – whatever their future may hold. We want to transform the lives of 1,000 children this year by granting their One True Wish!

All donations will be greatly appreciated!

Thank you
Victor
