The Band On The Wall Foundation will provide a sustainable income to fund a music engagement programme, which will extend and expand music-making for young people throughout Manchester and the North West. This will provide facilities, skills and enrich lives through a wide range of innovative courses, master-class events, technical training, mentoring and even performance opportunities.

Their slogan is ‘Music is an open Sky’ – Music creates opportunities, it broadens horizons, it gives people a different perspective.  They strongly believe that music can change lives, raise aspirations, develop personal skills, creativity, confidence and self-esteem.

The Foundation will give a musical voice to children and young people who are disadvantaged by economic deprivation, low educational achievement, crime, poverty and isolation.
