I am running because I want to support the surgical unit at St George's to purchase surgical equipment for use on babies and children.

Our son had life-saving surgery at St George's when he was just 24 hours old. It seems like a lifetime ago now that we went through that trauma and stress, but not a day goes by that I don't feel so so grateful to the wonderful surgeons who gave my baby boy his chance to live.

Our little superhero Thomas is such a sweet, happy, caring and wonderful boy. He lights up our lives and I want to support the surgeons to continue giving other children the same chance at life as they gave our Tom. The surgeons truly are our heroes.
